  • One-on-One Chinese classes are ideal for beginners or those requiring specialized Chinese such as Business Chinese, HSK or otherTest Preparation, pronunciation , etc. It can be taken alone or in addition to any other MakeMineMandarin course.It is most effective when combined with any other of our Mandarin Chinese courses.

  • By the end of Level 2, students should be able to write and speak Chinese simple Chinese sentences and communicate in routine and basic expressions in Chinese.

  • Students at this level will learn frequently used vocabulary and sentence patterns for dinning,travel and weather conditions.

  • By the end of Level 3,students should be able to describe in Chinese areas of immediate personal relevance ,read short ,simple texts,communicate in tasks requiring a simple exchange of information their families,educational backgrounds,and jobs .

  • At this level,students will learn what to say to show appreciation,to invite friends for social gathering or conferences, and to request permission or help.

  • This is to prepare students for entering into conversation on topics that are likely to arise in everyday life,while asking students to write simple ,connected text on familiar or personal topics describing experence and impressions.

Students can identify the main points of clear standard speech ,can read texts that consist mainly of high frequency language ,and can handle a limited variety of situation likely to arise while travelling in an area where the Chinese is spoken.

  • Students at this level will learn to read descriptions of events, feelings and wishes in personal letters,enter into conversation on topics that are familiar to everyday life.

  • Learn Chinese through Songs is an innovative approach for learning the Chinese language. This is a specially designed, interdisciplinary course, emphasizing both language acquisition and music appreciation and performance. Through carefully selected songs, students will learn in this class include famous Chinese art songs, folk songs, and popular songs. Song lyrics will serve as main texts, accompanied by vocabulary lists and exercises.
